What’s going on with Usher? Is this allegation true?

Celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom (left) held a press conference in Los Angeles on Monday (August 7) to address Usher’s recent flood of lawsuits alleging he had infected multiple people with an STD.

One of the plaintiffs, 21-year-old Quantasia Sharpton, said Usher picked her out of a crowd during a concert on her 19th birthday and later had sex with her, but she admits at that time she did not test positive for herpes.

Bloom explained all three of her clients, including one man, Wow, have suffered severe emotional distress, depression and anxiety. She alleges Usher failed to inform them he was infected with herpes.

Sources say, that they’re asking for punitive damages as well as a judge’s order requiring Usher to disclose his alleged herpes diagnosis before any further sexual activity.

Author Kevin Powell Files Lawsuit Against “All Eyez On Me” Creator

Well known Hip Hop Journalist/Author Kevin Powell has filed a federal lawsuit against the creators of the Tupac Shakur biopic, “All Eyez On Me”, which he says relies on interviews he conducted.

Some of the articles in were published in Vibe Magazine around the mid-’90s and focused on Tupac’s civil rights and gangster rap movement. Sources say, according to the suit, All Eyez On Me‘s executive producer L.T. Hutton did an interview earlier this month where he admitted he looked at “all of the interviews” with the late Hip Hop luminary to make the movie.

Powell is reportedly pursuing to immediately block the film from playing in theaters and be rewarded. Despite mixed reactions from fans and critics alike, “All Eyez On Me”. Meagan Good To Star As Foxy Brown

Hulu is currently developing a TV series based on the 1974 cult film Foxy Brown starring Meagan Good.

The series is slated to be executive produced by Tony Krantz and Good’s husband, DeVon Franklin. Megan will also serve as a producer on the show under Franklin Entertainment.

Good has starred in the TV series playing the lead in NBC’s Deception in 2013, FOX’s Minority Report and a role on CBS’ Code Black.

Suge Knight Murder Trial Delayed

Suge Knight’s murder trial will be delayed as his legal team makes an attempt to get his $10 million bail reduced. His lawyers now expect the trial to go ahead in May of 2017.

Knight appeared in court and told Judge Ronald Coen that he had agreed to delay his trial for the purposes of filing the bail motion. His bail was reduced to $10 million from $25 million in April 2015.

Knight stands accused of the murder of Compton businessman Terry Carter and the attempted murder of Cle “Bone” Sloan, who had been security staff on N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton.

Knight has pleaded not guilty on both counts, claiming that Carter and Sloan were killed and injured as a result of Knight defending himself.

Knight has been locked up since turning himself in January 2015.

Legendary singer-songwriter/producer Teddy Riley received the Legend Award the 2016 Soul Train Awards. Riley single-handedly created a sub-genre in the 80s that combined funk, R&B and hip-hop that was coined “New Jack Swing.”

Riley written and/or produced, songs like “My Prerogative,” “Rump Shaker,” Michael Jackson’s “Remember the Time,” SWV’s “Right Here,” Hi-Five’s “I Like The Way (Kissing Game),” and so many more.

50 Cent Launches “Frigo” Underwear Line

50 Cent has unveiled his new underwear line with FRIGO. The limited edition collection, called FRIGO Crown, consists of two pieces: a $150 t-shirt and a $150 boxer brief.

“For a man, everything comes three in a pack,” 50 Cent explained while talking to People. “No one’s saying, ‘Let me figure out how to evolve men’s underwear.’” Fif played a huge part in the design of the collection’s lion logo as well.

For those who are looking to purchase the boxer brief, my advice “Wear them when you know some action is going to take place. Hopefully you’ll put them on and take them off shortly thereafter!”

2Pac Biopic Coming 2017

Officer Betty Shelby Charged With Manslaughter Killing Terence Crutcher

In the affidavit, law enforcement stated the missteps that Shelby took in her handling of the situation.

“Your affiant feels that Officer Shelby reacted unreasonably by escalating the situation from a confrontation with Mr. Crutcher, who was not responding to verbal commands and was walking away from her with his hands held up, becoming emotionally involved to the point that she overreacted. Although Mr. Crutcher was wearing baggy clothes, Officer Shelby was not able to see any weapons or bulges indicating [a] weapon was present,” read the affidavit.

Bail for Shelby has been set at $50,000.

The Tulsa District Attorney spoke in a news conference regarding the manslaughter charge. During the conference, District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler mentioned the importance of due process.
