Atlantic Records recording artist Tank is excited to announces the “Savage Tour,” in support of his 4th studio album entitled “Savage”. The tour kicks off on September 5 at the City Winery in Nashville, TN. along with stops in New York, Boston, Little Rock, Memphis among others. Annalé Album To Be Released Fall 2017

Singer/Songwriter Annalé jumped on the scene with her 2016 release “Roses” which peaked at #19 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Songs chart.

Her single “Showtime” was co-produced by Stokely Williams (former front man of 90s R&B group Mint Condition), and features his signature swing groove mixed with Annalé’s smooth vocals on the breakdown.

Annalé musical influences include Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Floetry, Dwele, Musiq Soulchild and Lalah Hathaway.

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz were the honorees for the Brooklyn museum’s seventh annual Artists Ball.
The event also featured art and body painting. All the guests wore blue in recognition of the museum’s “Infinite Blue” exhibit. Attendees were serenaded by a gospel choir and up and coming singer/cellist Kelsey Lu. Also, Lenny Kravitz and Fab 5 Freddy were among those in attendance.

As of (February 16) that the King of Pop‘s album, Thriller, became the “ONLY” album ever to have surpassed the RIAA’s 30x million mark in U.S. sales and more than 105 million copies sold worldwide.

Released in 1982, the album featured the unprecedented consecutive hit single line-up of “Thriller”, “Beat It”, and “Billie Jean” and solidified Jackson as the solo megastar he would forever be known as until his death on June 25, 2009. Congradulations “MJ”” on another milestone.

New Edition Receives Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

New Edition BET mini-series “The New Edition Story” was released Jan. 24th, and Bell Biv DeVoe’s album Three Stripes drops on Friday (Jan. 27), but on (Jan.23), the R&B sextet was honored with a star on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

All six members were in attendance: Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, Ronnie DeVoe, Ralph Tresvant and, of course, Johnny Gill.

“Our friendships, our relationships go so far back before New Edition,” Bell said. “We came together because we had a passion and a desire to do something. It was simple.

New Edition set the stage for boy bands that followed them like New Kids On The Block, Backstreet Boys, N’Sync and more.

Teddy Riley Receives Legend Award @ 2016 Soul Train Awards

Legendary singer-songwriter/producer Teddy Riley received the Legend Award the 2016 Soul Train Awards. Riley single-handedly created a sub-genre in the 80s that combined funk, R&B and hip-hop that was coined “New Jack Swing.”

Riley written and/or produced, songs like “My Prerogative,” “Rump Shaker,” Michael Jackson’s “Remember the Time,” SWV’s “Right Here,” Hi-Five’s “I Like The Way (Kissing Game),” and so many more.
